You're posting consistently. Why isn't Instagram producing enquiries?

This is the single most common thing Lebanese business owners say to us: "We post regularly. We have decent engagement. Nobody actually messages us." It feels like a content problem, so the instinct is to post more, or hire someone to make prettier posts. That usually doesn't fix it, because the problem isn't the content — it's everything downstream of it.
Think of it as a chain, not a feed
Content → Attention → Profile → Enquiry → Sale. Every link has to hold. A great Reel that gets 20,000 views is only useful if the next link — your profile — gives the viewer an obvious next step. A profile with no clear bio, no link, or a highlight reel that doesn't answer "what do you actually sell and how do I buy it" breaks the chain right there, and the views were wasted.
Where the chain usually breaks
- The bio doesn't say what you do in one sentence a stranger can understand in five seconds
- The link in bio goes nowhere useful, or goes to a homepage instead of a specific offer
- There's no consistent call to action across posts — some ask people to follow, some to shop, some say nothing at all
- DMs and comments go unanswered for hours or days, so the moment of intent passes
- There's no way to tell which posts actually led to a message, so the same mistakes repeat every month
Notice that none of these are about production quality. A phone-shot Reel with a clear next step will outperform a beautifully produced one that leads nowhere.
What to check this week
Read your bio as if you'd never heard of your business. Click your own link in bio on a phone. Look at your last ten posts and ask, honestly, what action each one was trying to produce. If the answer to any of those is unclear, that's the fix — before the next content calendar, not after it.
Follower count is worth watching over time, but it was never the point. The number that matters is how many people who saw something you posted ended up in a conversation with you.
