The problem

The product is rarely the problem.

Lebanon is full of capable companies — family businesses with decades of trade, food producers with real recipes, designers with real craft, service firms with real expertise. Very few of them are held back by what they sell.

They're held back by everything around it. Customers can't find them. The website was built years ago and generates nothing. Products exist but there's no way to buy them online. The Instagram account posts, but nobody enquires. Every enquiry is handled by hand, on one phone, by one person.

Many good businesses remain invisible to the customers who need them most. That's what we exist to change.

  • A website that looks fine and produces no enquiries
  • Strong physical products with no way to buy them online
  • Posting consistently on Instagram with nothing to show for it
  • Enquiries arriving on WhatsApp and getting lost
  • No idea which marketing spend is working
  • Growth that depends entirely on the owner being available
How the pieces fit

We don't sell five services. We deliver one transformation.

Each service solves a different stage of the same journey. Most clients start at one stage and move forward as the previous one starts paying for itself.

Assess

You know something needs to change, not what

Digital assessment and a 90-day roadmap

Build the foundation

No real online presence

Branding, professional email, Google profile, website

Enable commerce

Products, but no way to sell online

Shopify store, payments, delivery, training

We assess the business, build its digital foundation, and stay on as its growth partner. That's the whole model.

Start here

Before we build, we assess.

Most agencies quote first and understand later. We do it the other way around. The Digital Business Assessment is a structured review of where your business actually stands online — and a written plan for the next 90 days.

Before we build, we assess. Before we recommend, we understand.

The first five assessments are free. In exchange we ask for honest feedback, a testimonial if you found it useful, and permission to write about the results. That's it.

Get your assessment
  • A short questionnaire, then a 45–60 minute conversation
  • A clear picture of where you stand today
  • The five things worth fixing first, in order
  • Suggested tools, systems and indicative budgets
  • A written 90-day digitalization roadmap you keep, whether or not you work with us

The founder

Ralph Chbib

I'm Ralph Chbib, founder of THE BUSINESS. Through my experience with Lebanese institutions, communities, and business environments, I saw many capable companies with valuable products and services being held back by weak digital visibility, fragmented systems, and limited access to modern business tools. I founded THE BUSINESS to help these companies build a professional digital presence, reach customers, modernize their operations, and grow.

Ralph founded THE BUSINESS lb in 2026 and works directly on every project the company takes on.

How we work

No surprises, at any stage.

01

Assess

We understand the business before recommending anything.

02

Plan

You get a written scope: deliverables, what's excluded, timeline, price.

03

Build

Work is delivered by vetted specialists, coordinated by us. You have one point of contact.

04

Launch

Nothing goes live untested. You're trained on how to run it.

05

Grow

Monthly reporting, improvements, and a strategy review each quarter.

Written agreements.

Scope, revisions, ownership and timelines in writing before work starts.

Milestone payments.

50% to begin, 30% at design approval, 20% before launch. You're never far ahead of the work.

You own everything.

Accounts, files and access are yours, in your name, from day one.

One point of contact.

You deal with us, not with five freelancers.

Founding clients

We're new. Here's how we're handling that.

THE BUSINESS lb launched in August 2026. We could fill this page with borrowed logos and vague claims. Instead, here's the honest version. Our first five clients get more attention than any client we'll ever take on again, at a price that reflects it — because their results become the work we show everyone after them. If you're a Lebanese business with a good product and a weak digital presence, that trade is a good one for both sides.

  • Founding-client pricing, fixed for the first year of any retainer
  • Direct access to Ralph on every project, not an account manager
  • A written roadmap before anyone asks you for money
  • The right to walk away after the assessment with no obligation

Who we work with

We work best with businesses that already have something worth selling.

We're not the right partner for an idea on paper. We're the right partner for a business that's already trading, already has customers, and knows it could have many more.

Fashion & accessories
Beauty & wellness
Restaurants & hospitality
Tourism operators

You already generate revenue
Your product or service is genuinely good

You see digital as an investment, not a cost
You want a partner, not a supplier

Start with a clear picture.

One conversation, a written plan, and no obligation to buy anything. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you — and you'll still have the roadmap.

Ralph replies personally, within one business day. If it's urgent, WhatsApp is faster.

Questions

Common questions

How much does this cost?

Most projects start between $400 and $3,000 depending on scope, with monthly retainers on top for social media or ongoing support. Full ranges are on the pricing page, and the exact figure is confirmed after we understand what you need.

We already have a website. Is it worth talking?

Usually, yes. Most of the websites we're asked to look at don't need replacing — they need a clear job, better structure, and something driving traffic to them. The assessment will tell you which one you're dealing with.

Who actually does the work?

We coordinate a network of vetted Lebanese specialists — developers, designers, photographers, copywriters, ads specialists — and take responsibility for the result. You get one point of contact and one agreement.

How long does a project take?

A basic website is typically 2–4 weeks. A Shopify store is 3–6 weeks depending on catalogue size. Social media is ongoing from the first month. Exact timelines are written into every scope.

Do you work with businesses outside Beirut?

Yes. Most of the work is done remotely, and we work with businesses across Lebanon and with Lebanese brands selling abroad.
